Here at NC Funeral Directors, we provide funerals for anyone person under the age of 18 free of charge, from our funeral homes in Blackpool, Preston, Fleetwood, and Cleveleys.

We conduct child and baby funerals, including those who have tragically passed through stillbirth or sudden infant death syndrome free of charge.

We fully understand that there is a lot to think about when it comes to planning any funeral, but particularly a child’s funeral. With this in mind, we are committed to providing you with as much or as little assistance and support as you need.
Some families know exactly how they envisage their child’s ceremony and others don’t. Whatever support you need, we are on hand to provide it.
How We Can Help?
At NC Funeral Directors, we do not charge for funerals of anyone aged under 18. The only costs associated with the child’s funeral is any third-party services such as cremation fees or church fees, as well as flowers, catering, and memorials. Normally Burial and Cremation Fess are not charged by our local authorities.
During our first meeting, we can arrange to see you at your home, or you can come and visit us – it’s entirely up to you and we put no pressure on you at any point. We understand how difficult this time is, so we are happy to work around you at every stage of the process.
And, if it is too painful and difficult for you to see us face to face, you can always fill in our contact form and we will get in touch with you.
There is no time limit on how long it takes to organise the funeral. We are happy to move forward at your pace and do things in a way that works for you. This is an incredibly difficult time and the last thing you need is to feel under any sort of pressure. Viewings can be arranged any time at the funeral home.
Some parents or guardians, for example, ask for the funeral guests to arrive in informal clothing or have a colourful, themed coffin. We will go to every length to accommodate whatever special ways you wish to remember your child.
You can also choose between a burial or a cremation.
